Charisma Academy engaged Jasmine Liew to do a Sharing Session on “Understanding Training Needs Analysis” on 28 March 2016. I found Jasmine’s session to be informative, insightful and useful. Her accumulated years of experience in the Human Resource Development field have made her an excellent resource person to understand the peculiarities, challenges and constraints of the people development. Her authenticity and sincerity in wanting to help others grow can be felt through her heart-felt sharing with her audience. She demonstrates excellent listening, patience and empathy for her participants hence her audience finds it easy to connect to her and are encouraged to asked whatever questions they have. Jasmine provided facilitation training for us prior to the conference we were attending. She was very instrumental in clarifying the concepts of process facilitation and the strategies that can be adopted during the actual conference. In the process of training, we were also enlightened on how certain questions can be framed with more alignment to the objectives of the conference. This added much value to the conference. At the conference, itself, Jasmine also provided a lot of support for us by roving around and affirming the good practices we had. In big group facilitation, Jasmine was skilful in sussing out the distinctive and interesting views from the small groups. Where the sharing seems a bit misaligned, she also facilitated through questions and paraphrasing so that the eventual sharing is aligned with the objectives. In conclusion, we are glad to have Jasmine as our chief facilitator and she has made a key difference to the event.
